In 2014 my wife and I were asked by my father if we would take over the care and maintenance of my family cemetery and upon our first visit after many years of absence, we discovered the cemetery was in dire need of maintenance and repair. Within our private cemetery alone there were 17 stones in various degrees of neglect and upwards of 24 more within the adjoining cemetery. From fallen, sunken and leaning stones, to cleaning and re-lettering we knew that we had a monumental task ahead of us. Thus began our journey of collaboration with professionals and research into headstone repair and maintenance. Over the next 5 years, we had custom tools built and gained knowledge of how to properly clean, care for and restore family headstones. In the spring of 2019 we decided to offer our services to others, which began our small husband/wife business of headstone restoration and cleaning. We continue to work full time jobs while fulfilling our customer headstone restorations during our off hours.
